Features
If you've got a story that our readers simply can't miss, that is new, topical, relevant, innovative and never previously covered in BBC Wildlife Magazine, please submit a brief outline of the story (no more than 100 words), preferably by e-mail.
Top tips for submitting feature ideas
Before you submit your idea:
Read BBC Wildlife Magazine. Familiarity with our tone, format and type of content will be an advantage.
Ask yourself the following questions:
a. How/where would your idea fit into BBC Wildlife Magazine?
b. What would its purpose/angle be?
c. Why should we run it?
d. Why should we run it now?
e. Why are you qualified to write on the subject?
f. Do you have images to support your story?
If you can answer these questions, then your pitch has a greater chance of success.
Images are vital to a feature’s success. Please let us know if you have images to support your story, or can provide advice as to where images could be found. Please do not submit images unless requested.
Please send your feature submissions to: Fergus Collins, BBC Wildlife Magazine, 14th Floor, Tower House, Fairfax Street, Bristol BS1 3BN
